Erik Frederick, President and CEO
Erik is more than the CEO of our pizza brand. He’s one of our biggest fans. Erik and his family have been coming to Chicago for Pizzeria Uno deep dish for more than 50 years. Before becoming our President in 2020, Erik was Uno’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he held a variety of COO and CFO positions in numerous private equity companies. He spent 11 years at Staples, leading financial and IT roles. He holds an undergraduate degree from Tulane University, an MBA from the University of Virginia. A veteran, Erik served six years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a lieutenant in 1994.
Fred Houston, Vice President of Franchise Operations
Fred has been part of Pizzeria Uno for more than thirty years. He joined the company in 1986 as an assistant manager in the New York City area. Working his way up from there, he served as general manager and regional director before becoming our Vice President of Franchise Operations. As our operations VP, Fred assists franchise owners in all matters related to owning and operating their Pizzeria Uno location, from training new staff to developing new menu items.
Brett Larrabee, Director of Franchise Development
As one of the newest members of our team, Brett brings decades of franchise management experience to Pizzeria Uno. Previously, he consulted with some of the biggest brands in franchising, including more than a few big-name pizza chains. In addition to consulting and managing franchise systems, Brett has owned numerous brands across multiple channels, including restaurants, services, and more. As Director of Franchise Development, Brett works with potential franchise owners to assess their fit with our culture, help them navigate the initial steps to ownership, and secure financing when needed.
Chris Dellamarggio, Director of Marketing
As Director of Marketing for Pizzeria Uno, Chris’s biggest task is to ensure customers everywhere know what Pizzeria Uno means. On the national and regional level, Chris oversees corporate marketing initiatives, including broadcast and display advertising, as well as an extensive online advertising presence. He assists franchise owners locally by helping them create and execute comprehensive marketing plans that connect with their customers and help ensure when they think “pizza,” they think “Pizzeria Uno.” Chris is a 20 year veteran in the franchise world and has a long track record of helping entrepreneurs in business.
